Sparkle Sheffield is a registered charity which looks to benefit children and young people with autism, and their families. This is done by providing parental support, education about this complex condition and coping strategies to deal with the challenging behaviour that autism often presents. By helping the parent/carers to understand and help their children have a better quality of life, this then increases the child’s opportunities by targeting their main caregivers understanding of the complex condition.
Sparkle Sheffield offers a range of support for the whole family including stay and play toddler groups, whole family activities and a youth group for over 13’s. The Twinkle group also takes place to support siblings of autistic children in an environment that is understood by others in similar situations.
