This session is completely free for everyone to attend, all children are welcome, no diagnosis needed.

 

It’s all about having fun, and a little bit of learning as we go!

Sheffield Horangi Taekwondo

Start time: 11am
 
Master Darren is founder and chief instructor of the Sheffield Horangi Taekwondo Club.
Has been training and teaching Taekwondo for over 30 years! Join us for a session of fun, hard-working and friendly session.

Alana’s Autism

Start time: 11.45am

Join 12-year old Alana from Sheffield as she talks about living with Autism and what it means to her.

Zoom Party with Josh

Start time: 12pm

An interactive comedy magic and juggling show, an interactive disco, and a little balloonology display to finish!

 

Kids Question & Answer Session

Start time: 1pm

Join Dr Mark Brown as he answers questions from the children on what they want to know about autism. Questions can be submitted to info@sparklesheffield.co.uk, or left on our social media pages.

Amelie Pape – Autism, My Brother and Me

Start time: 1.45pm

Join Amelie Pape as she talks about her very own book, “Autism, my Brother and Me” published by Sheffield publishers Dee Dah Publishing. 

Bricktopia Online Lego
Session

Start time: 2pm

The Bricktopia Team bring valued activities, using LEGO bricks, to children (and adults!). For this session you will need some Lego bricks close by to build with – no specific pieces and a small shoebox in volume.

Sparkle Drama with Laurie

Start time: 3pm

Laurie Nelson, Director of Hey Up Theatre Company and host of Sparkle us a Bedtime Story Club, Laurie Nelson, leads an exciting journey of creativity, imagination, fun and silliness!

The session will contain a physical/vocal warm up, play along games and story telling exercises.

Nicole’s Dance Party

Start time: 4pm

Professional dancer and teacher Nicole leads a fun, interactive and energetic dance party – get on your boogie shoes!

Nicole our lovely friendly bubbly dance instructor to help you learn some fab moves to show off to all your friends after the zoom.

Top Tips by Angel

Start time: 4.45pm

Join 10 year old Angel Dusauzay as she shared her top tips when living with your sibling who is autistic.

All based on her own experiences, sharing them to help other children in similar situations. 

Davey the Mad Scientist

Start time: 5pm

Davey the Mad Scientist will get everyone up doing crazy fun experiments with random household ingredients and materials!

Yoga with Tracy Hodgeman

Start time: 6pm

Join us for a yoga session specially designed for our wonderful children. Suitable for all ages.

Give it a go, you never know what you’ll love until you try it!

No equipment required, just an empty space.

Sparkle Mug Cake Making

Start time: 6:45pm

We will be in the kitchen for some microwave cooking with our chocolate mug cake! Ingredients you will need are…

  • Self-raising flour
  • Caster sugar
  • Cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • Milk
  • Oil
  • Any toppings you would like to add!

 

Sparkle us a Bedtime Story

Start time: 7pm

Join us at 7pm for our final event of the day, a Sparkle us a bedtime story. Get on your pyjamas, eat your cake and settle down for a lovely story.

– just for us!
